Is that hammerite paint on the top triple?? He at least could have chosen the smooth finish FFS...

what a dog, spend $8k and get a good condition RG500 Gamma instead, much better bike and much more tuneable.
the RD500 YPVS was always a twin crank dog

Doesnt do anything for me.
I've ridden a couple including a nice Black/Yellow speedblock
one with some very sharp sounding pipes,
(the guy f*cked it off to get a Z1100R ELR)

Sold as a GP bike for the road but wasn't.

If I had to ride around on a two-smoke.......

RG500.
Spondon frame with Gull arm
Ohlins rear shock and Ohlins road and track forks
Works XR88 magnesium yokes
Nissin 6 pot billet calipers
Marchesini wheels 3.5" front and 6" rear
Standard Motor rebuilt by Stan Stephens
Gibson blown pipes
Nova gearbox and dry clutch
Zeeltronic programmable ignition and powervalve controller
Harris YZR500 fairing modified to suit (will be changed to Carbon when finished)
One off seat unit made from RGV250SP and TZ250 seats(Mould will be taken and Carbon seat made soon)
