just under a grand per horsepower, thats some dear model, would expect more than 9hp supercharged though. it must have some torque though!

a nitro plane engine of 100cc's puts out 10-13 hp

a 60cc 2 stroke mxer has about 10-15hp standard

BANDITROD

Yeah but they don't replicate a V8

Very nice but I have to aggree , low on power. I think he is over complicating it 4 stroke spark plugs etc is alot of cash for 10 hp.

There was a guy years back doing 2 stroke V8's with glow plugs looked good but no where near as accurate as these but they pumped out 20 hp and reved a good bit harder from memory they were around 28.5 cc and used alot of the old 0.21 engine parts. You could buy a casting set and machine your own motor up with OS spares to compleat it.

I find that a bit hard to believe .... Prove me wrong

Mate there have been people strapping shit together like this for a lot longer than this bloke , Cant find a internet reference to the old motors but you could buy the kits through an add in the back of old popular mechanics mags from about 20 years back.

Same guy was making scratch built diesel motors for model planes. Pritty sure the old V8's turn up in scale moddeler once and a while I'll keep my eye out for you.

You though the one above was good check out these
