This is probably a school boy question but I can't seem to find a socket piece which will get my plugs out. Its a GSXR 1100 1991. WHat size socket is needed to get the pricks out?

Your friendly Suzuki dealer will rip some $$ out of your wallet for 1 but it will proberly have to be ordered in.

Seriously tho take a plug to supercheap and buy one of those really cheap pressed steel plug tools, the ones with a different plug size each end with the hole to put a screwdriver through it. It needs to be thin walled.

Any good slim line socket set should have a plug socket to fit.
I use a make called draper professional with no probs.
Or grind the sides down on the socket you have so it fits down the plug tunnel

The ones on my '95 use a 16mm spark plug socket.I normally put a bit of tape around the extension and top of the socket so as,to not lose it in the hole.

Ring the local wreckers and see if they have a generic pressed steel socket for it. Not as cheap as Supercheap, but they'll haved a motorcycle specific size. Cheaper than the factory tool
