Hi Guys,

I'm planning on fitting a Gixxer 1000 (k4) swing arm to my 1996 ZX9R fighter, so I am trying to find the width at the swing arm pivott. can anyone help?
Thanks in advance
Rod

Could be Deano, I've got K3/K4 gix 1000 wheels.
Also My rear shock is offset to the left so that has to clear also.

The centre of the shock is 30mm left of the centre of the swing arm.

I think you will struggle there mate. Unless you have a very skinny shock

Sounds like you need a custom Chromemoly swing arm. Dunno if this link helps.

Oh and I meant to say if you look at the diff between a 97 gsxr600 and 2004 gsxr 600. The hole in the swing arm were the shock sits looks massive so you may be able to work with the room.

The dog bones create the biggest issue
