i need tacho help

I want to use a gsx1100efe tacho on my gsx1100e but I have no idea how to do it
There are 3 wires off the back of the electronic tacho
Orange White Brown
How do i hook them up without setting fire to the world?[?]

One assumes you will have a power, earth and signal (from ignitor box). The matching wiring diagram should help as far as identifying the wires
