The gauges I bought from Acumen in the uk and would work out to $745 to buy which is why I think I will be keeping those unless a good offer comes in.
The seat does require retrimming there is enough of the original material to do that. I have cut about a quarter of the length off the seat. $50
The tail is fibre glass and in good condition. $65
post at cost

Your kidding arnt you ????? If not what sort of dollars would you be looking at for the engine ???? And the Tank ??
The engine is a diamond it has gas flowed, hot cams on slotted sprockets and kibble white valves,1216cc,new camchain and APE manual tensioner. APE studs and nuts, new genuine suzuki clutch plates, bandit 1200 gearbox and sump. The original tuning work was carried out by balls racing.
The tank is dent and filler free does not come with tap or lid.
$2.5k for the tank and engine delivery to be organise by the buyer but I will help as much as I possibly can.

hey Stu
Sorry to see it's being pulled apart but as you mentioned much more fun to be riding
I'm still fucking around with the srad rear and after much contemplation (ie many a beer and hammer nights) have decided on getting a new top mount made for a better angle/new rear mounts fitted on the underside of the lower frame spar to improve the shock angle which is simlar to the original srad positioning/setup (I got a late model shock from a cbr1000rr which is same length but reservoir piggy backs off the shock to fit into place)
What ya be chasing for the tank if willing to sell on its own - can pm us if ya like
Cheers

Thanks for the positive comments guys and reaper nah not using the srad arm at the present time as it will require a fair bit of re-engineering,to make the suspension brackets, links all work.
I will wait for someone else to figure it out[:I]and copy the idea or get them to make two sets of brackets and buy them :Das I would still like to fit the srad arm but it was just taking too much time and pissing me off loads.

Got a bit board doing the electrics so I took a break and fitted the zorst and what a breeze that was for a change oh yeah it is a bandit 12 headers and a viper stubby can, just bolted up like it was meant to be there, also fitted the carbs and braided oil lines.
Oh well back to the boring electrics
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/upload/512235834106497.JPG
Switched the electrics on and everything seems fine standard clocks lit up all lights lit up while I was there I re timed the ignition.
Now I know electrics are ok with my rewired loom time to fit up the digi dash and tidy it all up.
Then spend a couple of weeks tidying the whole thing up and painting the body work MATT BLACK :D

It was not a easy decision but life long friends and family back in England.
We did not think it would be a problem, we are emotionally closer to them than we thought and it is hard.
Some people can breeze straight through with emigration and get along just fine sadly not us.
I will miss the weather that is for sure but then I can fuck off to the med for some nice weather and it is a fuckin good ride as well
Anyway it wont stop me being an ASF'er spreading the good word.
Flights to oz from the uk are cheap especially around the AFR time;)
One other thing anyone travelling to the uk bike events etc that are fully paid up members will have a place to stay or stop over enroute gratis :D
Back to business anyone going to buy some of this stuff before it makes it's way to evilbay.

Im sorry to hear that you are heading back to the UK. Didnt end up having that beer with you afterall. I hope things get sorted out quickly for your sake as it sucks being away from your family for any period of time.
That being said, Just curious if those Dyna Coils would work for my GSXR Stu? also, that front brake master cylinder, is it one of those Nissin ones that take seperate reservoir via a tube? or one of the old fashioned square reservoir attached? Dibs on those items till clarified.

My visa SIR495 3 year temp states that I have to stay and work in south Australia for atleast two years before I can apply for permanant residency' I thought yeah that sound ok two years and I can go anywhere in OZ.
This means any time I spend outside Australia eg on holiday is not included in the two year requirement period and will have to be added on.
Then stay a further year (so that 3 then) in south Australia before being allowed to live and work anywhere in Australia.
If I go outside Australia while on permanant residency visa after meeting my sir visa requirements I cannot re-enter Australia without going through the whole processe again.
I cannot apply for citizenship until I have been a permanant resident for two years so this means no going outside Australian territory for two years. Red tape crap.
It was nice of the migration agent to forget to include all that in the visa statement. Fuggin prick. Thats the visa side of it.
Yeah we are sure we are doing the right thing for us that's for sure
