Righto lads as the title suggests I'm after tips and or advice on storing a couple of tanks long term ie. 1-2 years.

After working in a bike wreckers and seeing some of the rusty shit that people pass off as a tank I really want to try and keep the 2 tanks I have in as new condition inside. So fire away guys....

Cheers,

Dan.

Empty fuel out, was out with turps and drop in a bagfull of "camel in the cupboard" Is mosture absorbant crystals you can get from supermaket. Seal tank.

Stupid question but what is the easiest way of getting the absorbant crap out when I want to use the tank again ?

Put them in a paper bag, roll into a sausage tape end closed with a string on end like a big tampon. Make it smaller than filler pop in close tank. All good ?

You would be better off using stockings rather than a paper bag.... Spesh when moisture is involved
