Anyone wear kidney belts ??

Hi guys,

My German girlfriend thinks it is really weird that i dont wear a kidney belt when i ride my bike (street triple) around (to and from work, or going for a ride over the w/e). Apparently everyone in Germany wears the kidney belts.

Does anyone on here ?

i thought people only wear them in dirt riding. apparently her dad wears a kidney belt, shirt and jeans and hit the autobahn. no jacket, the kidney belt takes priority. crazy germans.

i wear a back protector with a kidney belt everywhere, but i have to set a good example. Dont see the point of ONLY a kidney belt and no jacket...

my joe rocket riot jacket has a elastic one built in
but its not the norm for me to wear one

My spine protector has a sort-of kidney belt made into it. Helps with support and I always ride with my spine protector.

i feel that no jacket is a jinx, that one time i dont wear it is when knowing my
