engine swap 84 gsx1100EFE into82gsx1100E

It's been a long time since I've seen one, but from memory I think you have to trim the sprocket cover on the EFE to fit in the older frames (Katana at least). But it wasn't a big job.

went for a little fang today
Its as happy as larry
No real performance gain to speak of, motor feels slightly peakier maybe?
The gearing seems alot taller through the range
Might have to fit the 18 inch rear wheel if I can
temp guage works still no tacho though
Any clues out there on how to get one working or do I have to just bite the bullet and work it out myself..........This could take awhile:)
