So it has been a while since i have had any time to devote to the bikes........
and now i am trying to work out what i need to pick up where i left off...... it is a pain in the ass trying to figure out what i had already figured out

looking for a cyl head to fit a 1052 motor (yes i know good luck)

an oil cooler for the 1990 750 curved job, actually 2 of them if there are any around

Anyone got some ideas on where to get a good performance full exhaust system for the old oil cooled Gixxers? L model both 750 & 1100

and while i am asking for the impossible why not a set of marvics and an ohlins shock........ and the proverbial money tree, hens teeth and of course rocking horse shit!

Slabbies will take an R1 shock if that helps.

Thanks Dylan, I played around with a R1 swinger and shock in a slabby once. But the L models are where i need to get sorted...... probably along with everyone else trying to do the same thing.

Dennis Foran is booked up for about 3 months..... oh well good things are worth waiting for i suppose.

There's Wild Wayne Smith on the gold coast (i think) can knock up a nice zorst. You can pm him on dragbike forum

The 750J/K cylinderhead fits the 11/12s and raises the compression as the volume is 22cc rather than 26cc, the valve size is the same as the 11/12s. If you can get the matching camshafts as well they are the best of all the oilcooled cams. The intake runners do angle slightly higher than the 11/12 heads, so on some bikes the fuel tap can sometimes be relocated.

Got onto Wild Wayne, seems like i will be able to get something sorted with him, and it saves me carting the bike down to Denis, only have to wait until the Winternats is over.

Geesexar, I have got a couple of 1100 oil coolers already, but just looking for the bigger 750 oil cooler, i think they are 15 rows and the 1100's are 14.

Dynomutt, I already have a 750 dot head, actually a complete motor, but i need another one for the 1100, I am doing something much the same as you and Clive with a Big Bore 750 motor.
