weight of early gsxr600 bare frame

As it asks above , anybody Know or have a bare early gsxr600 or 750 frame and some scales ? Dont need to know to the gram. Very interested to know how much heavyer the 600 frame is over a 1985 gsxr400 frame.

I don't know the answer but I am guessing it would only be a couple of kgs

Think you'll be supprized big fella my ally 6 cyl intake manafold is a lite one and it weighed 12 kg !

The weight difference between suzuki 600 motors of similar vintage but different models is wide to some as much as 14 kg lighter. Looking for the best option for the RF600 motor, I have been told the early gsxr600 frames are very close to a gsxr400 frames. If there under 2 kg difference I will use the 600 frame as it will make putting it on the road easyer is all.

Keeping in mind this bike will be pritty much no compromises on weight asside of this. Want completed bike to tip the scales at around 145 kg . Was looking at CF wheels the other day But still a little over budget atm lol
