Hey everyone,

New Hawkesbury rider to the forum.

Bit of background, just sold my buell 1125cr and bought a Bking. And if anyone knows where i can buy a pillion seat for the Bking that would be great.

Any advice for a new Bking owner?

Welcome.

Couple of B-King owners on here,
Had mine 3 and half years.

This is a great site, but you'll
find a LOT of info and Aussie members on suzukib-king.org

Have you had a look here yet ......

I'd start with.........

* A 190/55 rear helps them turn in better than the 200/50
and you get a much better choice of sticky tyres.

* The throttle cable needs to be zip tied LOOSE to the brake
lines to stop it rubbing the clocks.

* Make sure the reg/rectifier recall has been done if needed.

* Buy a radiator guard!

What year do you have ?
Pic's ?

Its a 2008 model, yoshi shortys and new mirrors but otherwise stock, don't know about the recall though. Got rid of the buell because its a hell of alot of hard work to ride you've always got to be in just the right gear and the engine is very rough, its just not refined enough but then again it is a buell :) Enjoyed it while i had it but time for a change.

If its an 08 model it should have the rec/reg changed at a dealer.
Only recently went offical so most havent been done (mine hasnt..08)
