Hi chappo's thanx for your feedback, havnt been on here for ages, she's 100% on the road nowadays, 1428 TBR and loving it!

FYI, shes like driving an FJ Holden with a Keith Black Engine in her!!

Cant help but launch her off of the lights as often as possible!
A few other guys here in Adel building EF's at the mo, hoping to get them alltogether someday for a photo or Magazine shoot!

Keep the Rev's up![8D]

EF's are getting popular down here in Adelaide, theres still one or two stockers getting around and when you chat to the owners they all say the same thing......they will never get rid of em!

I know of 5 down here that are in varoius stages of production, most of us are old Drag Heads. [8D]

Never had one, but always liked them.

11SD Kat, 11ET, Bandit-12's, Busa's, B-King, ESD, GSXR11, etc...
but never the air-cooled 1135. I'd be happy to change that one day.
Stock or modded they look tough to me.

Very nice....[8D]

they had prob's with some of the efe's when they first come out, some of them would go into the wildest tank slapper you could imagine,so bad that it would rip the bar's right out of your hand's,my first efe was great but i use to to balance the fork oil to the last drop, keep good rubber up to it, and string line the wheel's every time i ajusted the chain..my second was mental and tried to kill me every time you relaxed you hands on the bar's.there was a big right up in rev's magazine about it many moon's ago but i can't remember the out come of it,i think they got better with the introduction of the eff which had the rubber mounted motor ect.

Ive 3 efe's (kind of),1 complete and 2 rolling chassis things! I love them. Heres mine awaiting a rebuild.

I used to use it as my only form of transport like this. (obviously with it complete, but with no clocks/idiot lights etc....great fun).:D

Hi BWIAN,the exhaust is a star racing system, the baffle in it is an old one cut from a harris z1000 (i think?) rusty old pipe, and wedged in,surrounded with a bit of exhaust wadding to keep things, well, not quiet, but not as illegal as it sounds without a baffle. If you look at the end of the pipe, you can see its not round any more, thats because it used to hit the road on right hand corners. I figure longer "suspension" lock up struts are needed,or more air in the back tyre!
