G'day
A question for anyone that might know,
i have a set of six piston calipers, which have 4 pistons the same size and 2 smaller ones, i got given a rebuild kit for them including pistons, but in the kit the pistons are all the same size.

The calipers the i have are of an 96 srad 750,
the kit is genuine suzuki
So now to the Question, which model dose the six piston calipers with all the same size pistons come of.

Cheers Clive.

I can't be 100% certain but the 99 srad 750 had six pots and going by pics on the net the pistons all look the same size maybe go onto bike bandit and check part numbers

Edit just had a look and the 99 looks exactly the same as the 96 what is the part number for the kit Clive

That's ok mate but check the parts numbers on bike bandit to be sure cos on closer inspection they look the same as a 96

All the Suzuki and Kawasaki 6 pots are equal size. there was a model of honda that used 6pots with their combined braking system. Can't remember what model. But the outer (larger) pistons were the front brakes and the centre ones where operated off the rear. Does it have one or two line points?

one line in, operates all 6 pistons, as best as i know they are standard on the 96 srad? However that is not to say that they have not been changed before i got the bike.

i know of the honda dual combined brakes and have used them for other applications.

Cheers Clive.

Nothing any good Clive
most of my spare ones have been salted, pistons frozen.seals extruding passed pistons, that sort of thing , wouldn't use them myself

do you have a set that has good bodies, dont need the pistons etc.

the aluminium corrodes worse than pistons , no support for the seals ..
