In a previous life I subscribed to ASF whilst living in a cold, wet, windy n fuckin miserable part of the world called the FAR North of Scotland. I often looked at members photos on here in places where there was no water on the roads, no salt on the roads and no winds coming at you horizontally at 100 kph!
Whilst there I was trying to enjoy my GS thou framed GSX 1260 ( pics to follow if I learn how to)!
Anyway I'm now here in this splendiferous city called Melbourne and loving it. Bought my 02 Speed Triple over with me and also my GSX motor and bits and bobs.
I've now reached the point where I want to get this awesome old lump of a motor up and running again. My wish is to build a Kat based bike but I have no contacts here in Aus.What better place to start
making contacts I thought than ASF.
Anyway just a wee hello from me and I look forward to all the piss taking.:D[8D]

G'day & welcome SS.
Very much liking your old GS 'Fighter, why the fuck did you bring the dirty old Trumpy out & not that fine GS ??
I have a plethora of GS, GSX & Kat bits & a small amount of knowledge of them as well, I'll probly be able to help you out with your project.
See you at 80's Freaks shindig.

Hi TK cheers for that.
I brought my dirty old Trumpy over with me because it was actually running and it's loads of fun.
As far as my GS is concerned I felt it needed a better chassis, running gear, etc., etc and the cost of bringing it all over didn't appeal, I didn't know where I would be living, etc., etc. but more precisely I fucked up because I didn't think it through properly :(:D[:o)]

Hi kato

Yes I remember meeting you, nice touch with the flowers I thought.and Mr. Wiz it's not too cold here at all in fact just recently it was a rather pleasant and balmy 6 degrees and I haven't yet found the need to chip the ice from my windscreen and pour cold salted water onto my door locks to get my keys in :D
