How to transport a bike ...Streetfighter style.

So you buy a bike off egay & it's in another state, how do you get it home? Transport company? No. Van,Ute,Trailer? I don't think so.
This is a streetfighter site & this is bike transport Streetfighter style.
First off Buy a bike thats near to other ASF members, then bribe them with beverages to pick up the said bike & take it to a suitable disassembly location.

Fly to the state on your chosen Budget airline & pick up the smallest rental car you can find, don't forget the extra optional insurance.

Commence dissasembly, some will notice the Streetfighter owner in question,who has a history with this sort of thing.

Be sure there's plenty of doubtfull ASF members around to hang shit on you while you work....

Yes I have form with this type of shenanigans, under normal circumstances I would have gotten Jim to bring it down for me but I really needed to see the thing in the flesh 'cos the Ebay seller was a bit cagey & evasive on the phone & couldn't really tell me what was & wasn't missing or included, doing it this way costs about the same as having it transported professionally - a cheap 1 way Virgin flight & 1 way car hire (yes, I do have a family member in the industry who facilitates the <s>scam</s> scheme ;) & fuel & only takes around 24 hrs out of my life & I actually enjoy the drive.
Thanx to Big Ben & Little Richard for their help (in Ben's case) & useless advice/shithanging (guess who?) Good to catch up again lads.
The boys thought they were funny when they suggested either the previous owner was of Germainian descent or sponsored by Vegemite - hence the bike's working title of VegieKat - concentrated Beast extract - oh yeah !!!! [}:)]
