And then this.... modernised retro?

The line of the exhaust will be changed.
Saved a shed load of wieght by ditching the OE exhaust system and airbox.
I`ve not spared the detail on this bike.
95 bhp out the box, once its been dynojetted it should be somewhere arund the 120/130bhp mark.
8 plug head and aircooled, its a lotta fun on the road.

Anything that has those Z1 lines is a winner in my eyes. Nice work Hos.

Appreciate the pos feedback.

The fun is in doing the work. Its constantly evolving and changing as I go along.

The old air filter housing box I kept in place and blocked off the hole in the front where the airbox linked to it. With Dzus fasteners on the filter housing lid its now a usefull storage compartment under the seat.

I love the classsic Zed lines and duck tail. But I will tell you how smoothly these big lazy bikes ride ! A really smooth ride, thats what realy struck me when I test rode it prior to purchase. Theres summat about the head up, wide bars, plenty of vision around you, riding style of the big retro`s. But this bike will sit there all day at the ton. ;) and in the piss pooring rain.

Apart from finishing my own design of stainless exhaust clamps I`m making and the aligning the pipes correctly and carb rejetting, the rest is minor stuff to have it ready for MOT.

These Pipercross filters are on it this week.
Used some Renthal grip glue to hold em on while I tightened the hose clips. They are a special design Pipercross made up for me, good bunch of guys there ! ;) Because the frame rails impinge quite a bit on the outer carb inlets I had to design my own filters.

Cheers mate.
The exhaust can needs jacking at the back to make it look right.
Very keen to see what power Mark can get out of it. Mark did the blower install and set up on the Busa for me. He reckons looking at the bike it`ll punt out 120/130. But I think that might be a bit enthusiastic. But then again, he knows his stuff.
