Katana 30th anniversary meet

I've mentioned it a few time before but here it is again. The Katana 30th anniversary meet, run by Katana Australia will be held on the 23rd and 24th of April (yes, that is Easter weekend) at Albury/Wodonga on the Vic/NSW border.

The plan is for it to be the largest collection of Katanas Australia has ever seen.

There's a few big names who have agreed to bring their Kat's along for everyone to see, such as Mick Hone, Robbie Phillis and Clint Cole.

I know there's a few guys hoping to see the one of the country's biggest Katanaphiles Kev Blanks in attendance, but he is yet to commit.

Post up here if you are planning on coming and we can arrange a meeting point and travel together.

The Easter meet will see most members arrive on Good Friday no doubt so the Concourse will be on Easter Saturday....

CONCOURSE GATEWAY LAKES Wodonga 9.30 to 4.00 approx finish time
Judging will be conducted by Robbie Phillis and Mick Hone

BEST MODIFIED BIKE
BEST RAT BIKE
PEOPLES CHOICE BIKE
FURTHEST TRAVELLED BIKE
All concourse winners will recieve a trophy on the day
Both Robbie and Mick will have their bikes on display

Their will also be an Easter egg hunt for the kids attending as we can't forget the future Katana owners/riders
Also for sale will be motorcyle accessories/ clothing at discount prices along with discount vouchers from various motorcycle businesses around Australia
We have also sourced prizes from various manufactures which will be raffled on the day of the concourse....... with proceeds going to a charity of our choosing.
their are also plans to fit a group bbq into the weekend.....
ANY MEMBERS WISHING TO BRING PARTS ALONG TO SELL ARE QUITE WELCOME TO............

Easter Sunday their will be rides organised around the outer areas and surrounding districts for any one who wants to go on them... Please remember that their will be double demerit points over the Easter period
Other members/families will be able to choose what activities they would like to do for the day, some no doubt will want to sit around and chew the fat with old and new friends, or have a look around the local area.
The organisers of this event feel that it is not our right to regiment members attending the event on how they should spend there time at the event over Easter. We appreciate the effort that many of the members will be making to attend the 30TH Anniversary and that their priorities will vary on how they spend their time according to their distance travelled


This will be a great event with alot of different variants of Katanas on display from ORIGINAL to Mild to WILD.......... So do yourself and Katana Australia and your States proud, and bring along as many Suzuki Katanas as you can muster, wether you ride them or trailer them or push them to the Anniversary meet............
Having said that all bikes and their riders are welcome to come along to this event to see our pride and joy..... The Great Suzuki Katana...........
