Hey,

I work in a bike shop in Yagoona (Sydney) known as the Helmet Warehouse... advertised in AMCN mag every issue. Not as exciting as one would think, but it makes building a fighter a hell of a lot cheaper!
Anyways, if ur after a new lid or other gear, give me a buzz. I might be able to get the boss to authorise a couple of discounts for you guys. Number is (02) 9790 2804.

I did some CRM work at Mac Bank, 101 Collins has a top view. Wouldn't work with any of that lot for all the tea in China though. Most of the job involved making sure that the internal staff didn't rip one another off, I kid you not.

Damned cute secretaries and the like though, the Friday piss-ups were enjoyable.[^]

I gotta tell ya Willow, thats a good idea - chucking it in, not stickin my arm up a horses arse. Been at this trade for too long so if you know of any jobs going let me know, PLEASE:(
Job at the moment is mainly restoring "classic" cars and repairing & painting late model bikes, have done the odd custom harley for Peter Stevens but mainly stock stuff.[|)]

26-05-2006, 07:17 AM
Yeah i know how it is, mate. I was pretty desperate to get out but i didn't know anything else but painting. (Still don't) I'm pretty lucky, this job sorta found me. Sill, it was scary stuff leaving a job that was second nature to me. And no i don't really shove my arm up horses arses. Just threw that in for Large's benefit.

Hope you eventually get out and find something else, Gibbo.

Best thing about being out of the trade full time is as a hobby it can take you anywhere your interest lies. My current interest involves turbochargers and motorbikes, but spent 10 yrs before working off and on with various race teams from Group A to proddy racing, just doing a couple of meetings a year where i could fit them in!

Gibbo i bet you enjoyed doing the odd custom job
