Allo all an nice timeecha. My name is Kieran. I ride all year round in Tassie and don't have a car licence. Proud of it.
Been riding for 3 1/2 years now, fuckin lovit. I'm nearly 21.
Righto, crunchtime. Say what you will about 'em, but I own and like my Hyosung GT650. Bought it new for my 18th bday prezzie coz it was learner legal. unrestricted now, and with my skinny arse piloting the thing boogeys along plenty fast enough for me.
And it's this big 'eavy bastard that Ima start chopping up soon. Fret not for I'm not throwing big money at the sucker. The only expensive bit's I'll have'll be a UJM front end and a single sided swinger, hopefully an S2R jobbie to match the big tube frame.
I plan on fabbing a sortof cafe-ish tail, gunna nestle a 4 1/2 headlight right back in the tripple clamps, bin the clocks for a litle tacho/speedo ala mt-01, and I want looooong, narrow straight pipes, coming up under the footpeg all Zoomie-style.
I've got some computer skills about me, and I've made a 3D model of it to preview it all. I'm liking what I see.
Atm the only mods are risers and flat bars, and the optional polished sports can.

Righto lads, freshly rendered for your entertainment.
Sick idea for the tail. I was thinking cafe hump style, then I was thinking put a little ducktain on that, and I realised that'd look kinda like an SS helm, so I'm gunner have two round tail lights unda.
A current German trend is putting freaky-mask headlight shrouds over twin spots, but this shit will look mental shining red. 'Sides, cagers are more likely to see the tail than the front end.
Not sure if I'll need the hugger, have to wait n see if shit sprays up me back.
Pics ensue

G'day kev, um not sure if I'm the blokeyaknow, are ye from the mainland? I don't know anyone from up there.
Cheers for the feedback guys, I really can't wait to get stuck into it! Financial situate will be good to roll soon, I make decent enough money and I've got no finantial resposibilities bar rent, food, grog etc. I'm going to have to buy a few tools though.
S2R swingers on fleabay for 1k delivered minus wheel, vfr jobbies for a third of that. Might have to contact mainland wreckers methinks. For the meantime I reckon I'll beef up the look of the flacid bocks-steel swinger with some ally sheet "bracing" [|)]
Just got the latest Streetfighters yesty, the bandit on cover is a stonker.

naked ninja
26-03-2011, 05:43 AM

Nah, I've parked next to that bloke for a laugh though! Mines the same as his, 2008 model in black, but he had a nice yoshi carbon can, I've factory polished sports can. And my bike is a hell of a lot dirtier than his...

hi mate did something similar to the "twin rear light" thing on my old Z650 using old mini/landrover tail-lights mounted on an alloy bracket tucked under the ducktail. it looked great and got heaps of comments.
