advice on radars? best radar detector?

Hi all, new to the forums. Looking forward to joining the community.

I saw a similar thread on radar detectors so id thought i wud ask all of you, ive talked to a couple retailers in perth some that come to mind are http://www.radas.com.au or http://www.radarsdirect.com.au im sort of getting mixed reponses. it comes down to 3 so far the whistler pro, valentino and beltronics, has anyone used any of these and could they share their personal experiences hence im not sure which one to get. I think the valentino has a lot of supporting evidence that it is the best but yet again ive seen some videos on the whister
