Just wondering what carbs are good to use on a gpz 1100. And a ruff idea of price for a second hand set. Any info or advice would be appreciated.

gpz750 mikuni 34mm CVs, they are a straight swap. If you are running pods and want flatslides early gsxr750 36mm can be squeezed on.. spacing between 1/2 and 3/4 is good, but 2/3 is about 3mm too wide, but they can be forced on. The gpz750 carbs 34mm CVs are basically the same as those on a z1000j also the in the USA this motor was the base for the kawasaki police bikes which only went out of production in the last couple of years. Another good option for carbs. Price anything from $50 up...

Mate tried the 34mm CV's off my GSX1100SD Kat on his Lawson Rep.
Didnt set the world on fire but still went quite well.

GSXR carb spacings are the same 77-93-77, the GSXR750 Slabby VM29 flatslides work really well on these motors when they are bored to 33mm. The front of the carb needs to be removed and then offset bored to 33mm as the fronts are 29mm the rest of the carb is 33mm. I've recently done a few sets for people, and with a set of mid length velocity stacks fitted they work really well.
