what USD forks fit a gsxr600

mate just bought a 2000 model gsxr600 and will be streetfightering (is that even a word)it.. wondering what USD forks from a later model will fit without many hassles if any...

Simplest would be a similar model 750, , even a lot of the 1k stuff may fit but there was a change in fork distance around that time and you would be best getting the whole front end.

Might be worth looking into gixxer thou usd's k series. I take it the 600 is one of the first k series gsxr's you might only need to swap stems over and maybe sort something with the lock stops but I would not think there would be too many dramas fitting the 1000 usd's to the 600.
If you know someone with a k series 1000 then break out the tape measure that should give youa good idea.
