Hi Guys, have any of you imported bike parts, ie swingarms and engine parts(used) from the uk or usa, if so are there any restrictions apart from cleanliness? The reason im asking is the issues im having importing my complete bike and now thinking along the lines of getting my mates to ship it out bit b bit , i know costs etc just want to know if its feasible and if not why not, cheers, getting p'''ed off with the whole thing now :-(

Hi McMad. Have a word with Dave at Get Routed, he might be able to help. He's got containers of bikes and my parts coming out of the UK in July.

No issue to import engines. No duty payable. If you get your mates to send it all with a very low dollar value on the goods description then you probably won't have to pay the gst. Just make sure it is all under $1000
