updating speedo on gsxr

Hey Guys...

Has anyone done, or knows if it can be done to use a 2000 model or newer speedo on a 98 srad 750?.

I have a Koso digital unit on there at the moment and are not really happy with it, I do like the new gsxr gauges more so than the srad models... and you can pick them up alot cheaper than similar aftermarket brand units.

Wiring it in wont be a problem for me but just not sure if the speedo sensor and other functions with all work ok.?

If you just use the speedo sensor that suits the dash along with the trigger that suits the speedo sensor then you can't go wrong. Might even have a k 1000 dash, instrument loom and spedo sensor and speedo sensor trigger if you are keen
