A dry system is before the carbs/injection, wet is straight into the head or inlet manifolds. Normaly a dry system only has 1 injection unit, wet has 1 injection uint for the nitrous per cylinder. Go straight into the manifolds mate.

Not sure how they would go in a Pod Filter Situation but yes you can fit foggers before the Throttle Blades. Not typical but doable. Assuming you are only shooting at WOT there shouldnt be a problem of the gas hitting the Blades and it may take some experimenting to position the nozzles corectly.

A couple of installs from the net

i am still running carbies, its a fzr so there isnt any room for the foggers in the inlet manifolds.
if i did away with the filters could i use a bracket to mount the fogers above the carbies

A guy up this way got booked for having the Nitrous kit fitted, even though the bottle wasnt on the bike at all.

What about spacing the carbs, something like this.

APE have a few spacers but none listed for the FZR, could be something you could make yourself if you are handy.

Forgot too mention you would probably get booked with no Filters at all, well if you got pulled over that is!!

In the uk it was illegal (i think). Even if the system was on the bike but no bottle. The argument was that if you had an accident you could 'lose' the bottle and claim it was never there, tus avoiding a charge.

Well guys about getting booked...

On the newer bikes most of the carbs injectors are under the tank and to be honest You should put a lot of thought about keeping you nos systems as hidden as possible to avoid prying theiving eyes. and also with the roomer or the look of nos most squids won't run you then... outa fear. but you would have to get an extremely switched on copper to pick up a nos system with the bottle off. or hide the bottle the best you can.. paint it red and put a fire extuinguisher sticker on it and say its an on board unit. has worked for me in the past.

best bet is to use the fogger in the spacers and book sum seriouse dyno time.

Hi guys I'm new here saw this older post that caught my eye.

I've set up a few NOS bikes (&cars) over the years & I reckon the only truly successful way of using gas is to drill & tap directly into the head on the inlet runners. Make sure all foggers are spraying directly at the valve/s & run a seperate pump for the fuel for the gas system.

I have run 2 of my own bikes like this & used upto 120 odd HP hits with no worries at all. Try to keep all the gas lines the same length & as short as possible.

As for hiding the bottle that's a personal thing but I ran a 2&1/2 pound bottle off the rear peg mount with no real hassles in Vic for a few years.

Hope this helps ?
