I was told the chain wax was no good for the "O" rings

I use the only Shell product I ever use "Shell Chain LUbe"

So far so good and sticks like shit to a blanket but I don't do the big long k's I used to do so can't really comment, plus we used to run 630 chains which were so fucken strong.

You're meant to use lube on bikes too eh? So a bit of spit doesnt cut it..

I always use BelRay chain lube because you don't get alot of fling off

That's a 2nd for belray.... I lube the chain weekly (approx 700k), then clean the chain every 4th week. First chain lasted 35,000km, 2nd chain was doing fine but was changed at 53,000km as bmw had a chain and sprocket recall. I was quiet amused that I was given a free chain and sprocket as they felt the stock ones were failing early. I was happy with 35,000km and even happier with a freeby one at 53,000km.

I started with Belray then went to Silkolene Titanium and was happy with both. I'm currently using Motul Factory Line though and it's the best I've tried yet.
