Hi all.... Looking for some advice on how to bypass the knock sensor on my 99 CBR1100xx without causing a problem....
Any advice would be much appreciated.....

1 ohm resister from j car 40c.

And thats it?? Where exactly does that go??? Sorry, im usually ok playing with electrical, but never had to play round with sensors etc..

In the plug that the sensor plugged into, it will fool the ECM into thinking it is still there.
why do you want to get rid of the knock sensor ??

Im putting nitrous on my bike and was told by a mechanic that when he put it on another customers bike, the knock sensor didnt like it....

Ok, last question I swear: How many Watts should this resistor be?
Went to Jaycar to get this 1 omh resistor and they asked me about wattage.... As I dont know, I just grabbed a few so should i just go the 'trial and error route' or does anyone know for sure?? I grabbed 1W, 5W, 10 W...

doesnt matter go with the 1 watt is smaller physically than the others

have never been asked that 1 ohm 1 watt I would be guessin now
