This is going to sound like a stupid question but Ben and i were talking the other day about Tyre pressure and we both run extremly different pressure.

I run 38psi front 39psi rear And drop them both to about 28psi when i hit the track but this may be adjusted depending on the track temp
and the temp of the day.

Ben says he never runs over about 35psi he didnt say front or rear
so im guessing maybe both. Ben?

What tyre pressure you guys running?.

Oh by the way im running mitchy piolots 60/120 front 55/190 rear

I've put 36psi in everything i have ever had exept chook chasers.
I also religously check tyre pressures at least once a year, whether they need it or not.

Is that the drag strip or race track Damo? I would have thought that the lower pressures would have the tyres squirming under brakes and cornering.

Yes. I have air in my tyres I think.

Too be honest I can't remember. I think it's 38 in the rear that I aim for. Maybe I should wake up to myself!?

I use 34-36F & 38-40R on the road as a baseline, I've tried all sorts of pressures on all different tyres & I can tell you, there's no magic formula, just play around with them a bit (preferably on the same bit of road) & go with what feels best.
30 @ both ends is a good starting point for a trackday.

Front 37psi,rear 42psi;)road conditions[^]race track[?]are you f@ck`n kidding[?]i`m out there to win tiger.I`m just repeating wot i was told & this should only be used as a guide line as such variables such as,road construction,temp,camber,settings,tyre type,horsepower,weight,wet,dry,abillity........... .................................................. .................................................. ......

Im talking race track not drag strip Mr Chalk

1st two laps are a bit that way then as the heat comes up in the tyres so does the pressure.
