Hey lads/ladettes..

First off, this is for a mate, but ask here or contact me(bike is in my shed) and i'll sort you out.

Bike is i think about a 76 model, hasnt been running for a few years but was going well when it got parked in a garage and forgot about.
pretty good nick, pitting etc on the chrome(it is 30 yrs old!).
Turns over, good compression, fresh battery fuel and oil and it should be right!

I'll get some photos or emailed(havent got a photo account)up if anyone is interested.

Basically, he is open to offers, would make a great cafe project if i hadn't just bought one!

Give me a yell on 0417521355, or pm and i'll get back to you.

do it jules.

Somewhere between 68 and 70. Later models had a disc front-end.

CB not CL. The CL had upswept pipes that ran along left side past engine.

Flashbacks to the first bike I actually owned.

$? come up with a figure yet

The frame number starts with CL.. so i dunno if that means its been converted to cb spec, or the numbers all start with cl? was wondering that as well..

Would $1500 be unreasonable? Thats what he's hoping for, but i cant find any others for sale to gauge an idea on price.

considering I sold my 1997 RF900R for $2000 I think $1500 is about $1300 too much.

I just found a TS500 for $1500, in about the same condition (might be a little better) 1972 make so you might be aiming a little High.

HARDwood or another less sexually agressive type like pine or even a nice ply if you're a little skittish.
