6V gauges?

Anyone know were I can get digital gauges for a 6volt bike? I can only find the replaceable battery type ACE 1500, but I cant be bothered changing batteries all the time.

Convert the bike to 12v?

Or you can get a adapter that will take 6 volts and supply 12 volts jacar electroincs

A lot of noise has been made lately about introducing GST to internet purchases because businesses are losing out to the web. It's not surprising really. I found the Trail Tech website (US) and they sell Vapor digital gauges. Found the names of 2 Aussie sellers and rang the first, a shop in Tuggerah NSW. After asking a couple of questions about operating voltage etc, the young guy told me to go to the Trail Tech website and work out what I need then get back to him. Like fuck I will!
I then rang Holeshot Sports in VIC and the guy there was great. He asked about the bike it was for and explained the basics for me. He then put me onto a couple of local suppliers and told me what I can expect to pay.
Good customer service makes a huge difference.
