WTB - Cheap motorcycle in Newcastle

Hey Fellas, as stated im after a cheap bike in the Newcastle area. I got chucked off my GSXR through the rear window of my mates skyline so while my bikes getting fixed i want something to punt around on. Iv got around $1500 to play with. hey mate do wat i did hit the bike shops "new bikes that is" and ask if they have any traded in ones that they are going to wholsale of??
i got my tl1000s of suzuki newcastle that way last yr only $2500?

i have a postie that i picked up at auction in brissy for about $1050, didnt cost too much to to get it on the road, one new tyre, one, one new lever and a rwc so on the road for about 1200 + rego costs. that was from mainhiem fowles. good as a little get around bike as long as you dont have to use any highways, comfortably sits on 75 but tops out at about 85-90. im sure there is an auction place in newcastle, if not sydney that you could get one from. if you wanted to go down the postie route
