Hey guys, have just taken most of the fairing off my bike, about to purchase bars, headlights and Electronic Gauge. I am just going with a set of risers and some fat bars, question I have is when drilling through the top yoke where do I drill and do I need to put a thred in it or are the risers supplied with a nut do that'll locl them in place once the bolt goes through them?? Anything else I may need before I purchase these things, things I may not know that I need, please add them :)

The risers should definitely come with locknuts mate.. so no need to thread just drill holes pop riser bolt through.. do up nuts..

I would prob drill somewhere around these marks depending on the underside of your top yoke..

I used the threaded holes in the top triple clamp once the clip ons were removed.

Used Bandit single bolt risers but I guess you must be able to buy aftermarket ones that do the same.

prob with putting them in the centre gitzy is the bars can get the way of fork adjusters and also restrict how far you put the forks through the clamp (depending on bike of course)

Ah very true Rod.. I had that issue on the R1.. luckily good ol renthal make various heights/offsets which help slightly to avoid that very prob.. took me 2 goes to get it right though so do your maths if that is the way you go Josh. B&C Express in the UK are brilliant, good value and fast postage.. they sell fatbars too..
