Hey all I have been around the traps a few times with a few of the guys in vic. Im now new to Tassie and have seen some wicked Fighters about but it seems that there is hardly anyone getting on here. As im new on the forum i just want to say hey. Hope to maybe catch up with some cool people as its a bit SLOW down here

Welcome mate, it was about this time last year I was having a beer in Launceston, I love Hobart also, but I've never understood The rivalry though. Is it a cascade, Boags thing?

There is a bit of a beer rivalry going on but generally Launceston has smog, a dirty river and is built in a hole surrounded by mountains.

Hobart has the beautiful Derwent River, Mt Wellington, great restaurants and no smog or fog.

Hey Moz, I did enjoy going out in Hobart, the Irish Bars with nice clean limestone buildings was awesome. But correct me if I'm wrong, Launceston has some nice twisty roads.

Yeah they do have some pretty good sections of road up there. I still prefer the east and west coast roads though. West coast is pretty damn insane, East coast is always a good half day ride, get out, have lunch and get back.

Yep Launceston is crap but there is a few nice roads around as long as you can fight ya way thru all the road kill. And why do they drive so freakin slow around here?

i'm in tassie at the moment too for another week or so taking the bike out for a burn. weather has been great (until today)

and yeah launny is a fuckin dump. i used to live in hobart though and loved it, couldn't say a bad thing about it.

i havent seen any fighters around tassie at all though?

maybe im just not looking in the right places??
