New Guy!! YZF 600 Project

Hey guys, new guy here, the names Josh and I'm from Hobart and I have just swapped my CBR250RR for a YZF600R that I am hoping to turn into a decent streetfighter, as I am disgusted by the current yellow paint job and how heavy this thing is. I am a little concerned though now that I have stumbled upon this forum as it looks like I may need to rethink my plan of spending about $1500 to get the look I want, which is similar ( not as fancy ) as Mozza's bike that I have seen on the forums.
