I am chasing a base line jetting set up for a HSR42 which is going onto a Mr turbo draw through turbo on a stock cc GSX1100ET? The carb I've bought is set up for a H#$%^*Y motor. It's difficult for me to ring Mr Turbo themselves to get specs.
Also, does anyone know how to measure the wastegate spring to work out the boost range?
Mr Turbo Australia have been completely useless with parts enquirues so I don't trust them to give me the correct jet set up.
Any help on these things would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

I'm guessing a standard H#$%^*Y makes nearly 10hp and a turbo H#$%^*Y makes about 15, so if you're going for say 180hp, just multiply the jet sizes by 12 (remnember it's area not diameter you're increasing)

Shirley somebody on OSS has the specs.
Edit; A 5 minute search on OSS revealed all the info you need, search for 'HSR setup' & bask in the warm fuzziness of knowledge.

I contacted mr turbo Australia a few times when I was planning the gs. That was about 5 or 6 years ago, I'm still awaiting their response. I say fuck'm, fuck'm in their stupid arses.

Sorry I could be of any help.

You lie like a sleeping dog TK all I got was someone putting one on a rf900 engine in a gsxr frame and some other dude wanting to know about a HSR45 on a f60 unit.

Mate, I dunno how you manage to dress yourself in the morning, lucky you got a wife to look after you.
You need;
#95 needle (aparently it's the richest available)
2.3 needle & seat
35 pilot jet
240 main jet, some blokes recommend 200 - 220s for a 'street' setup like yours but probly wise to start rich, it's only 1 jet so grab a few sizes each way before you head to the dyno.
At the very least you need a big tap outlet & fuel line.
If you're gunna chase big HP you'll need to run an elec fuelpump @ approx 3 psi & possibly a rising rate reg.

Finally found probably the same thread just took me ages so thanks Boubie2. haha. The carb finally arrived on the 23rd, it's never been on a bike so i got me a deal. By the way I bought a N.O.S. clutch hub from the states yesterday for $260 delivered, my price on one here was $360. So no more clutch rattle and one to rebuild for the straight cut.

As for the fuel tap. putting a pingel tap large hose and 3-4psi pump, might as well do it now ready for big motor.
