I'm an ex-pat, but a South Pacific Pom, not an atlantic pom.

That holiday is the best idea mate, a very cheap investment in your future mate.

Woah Pete, Don't go too far down! Brissy's a good area for weather (apart from this week when it has gone spaz again). Yea Exile, even I'm from Cheltenham. Never realised just how shit that place was until I realised I was getting out of it whenever I could. I travelled the world (apart from the states) and this place had everything so it was an obvious choice.

Yea, there's one up here as well if you're REALLY keen. And if you don't fancy the unreliability of the Gix11 shopping system, there's always: http://www.treatsfromhome.com.au/

So not one of you lads miss the UK and all of its great traditions like drinking Belgium beer, eating dodgy Turkish kebabs or currys;)and of course the 2 days of so-called summer

Gix11
07-03-2007, 01:38 PM
We do all of that without the 2 day summer bit. We have 365 day summer instead up here in QLD. Belgium beer is at the bottlo, kebabs are everywhere, and Indians are starting to appear everywhere as well. Why would I wanna live anywhere else?:
