Hi All,

intro - Stuart, living in Wellington NZ.
Re-living the memories with a more or less standard '80 GSX1100ET (repainted due to minor bingle, plus legal (quiet) 4-1).

Hope I'm duplicating anything here, but couldn't find a relevant thread.

All has been well for the last couple of years, now I'm having fuel related problems....

Nothing unusual I suspect, but it looks like the (cursed) vacuum fuel tap is playing up. I see re-build kits & replacement taps are available in Europe. Does anyone know if they are available A/NZ region ?

Hi Stu.

Yeah, my ET tap was a bit suspect.
Local main Suzuki dealer did a deal on a complete replacement unit
rather than just a kit.
Shouldnt be any problem getting just the kit from the UK though ?

Hello and welcome mate, any bike shop in oz can get the kits Motorcycle specialties supply them over here wholesale only. I can have a hunt for you if you like, I did a kit in my 1100 a couple of years ago.
