Crap that's a good deal. If my payment for this contract comes through before anyone else grabs it (a week or 2) i'm definitely interested.

I'll vouch that this is one very tidy bandit, correct me if I'm wrong but it was featured in Rapid a couple of years ago?

Sold pending payment and transport etc.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.
As evidenced at the NFR, I am not getting the time to ride and work on the bike that I would like and felt it was a real shame (and bloody expensive too) to only ride it a dozen times a year.
I still have a little CB360 to keep me entertained as far as tinkering goes so you haven't seen the last of me...

I agree, we all put a lot of time and money into these types of bikes and then give them away to the next punter that comes along, unfortunatly these bikes also have a very limited market when selling, hence the low prices. Unless you find someone that truly appreciates the work involved you'll never recover any major cost's.

Which is why I parted out Mongrel. To sell it I couldnt seem to get $4k, yet I parted it out for $4750. Still shit money, but when someone buys someone elses bike, the bike will always be known as the initial persons bike unless considerable changes are made.

Who'd want a pic of a snarling dog on their tank hey lol....

I see it a different way, when you buy someone else's ride you get a great opportunity to build upon a great base point. Someone else has done all the hard work, anyone can make additional changes to make it there's and if its quality work I'd be happy to pay what's fair.

You'll never get what you spend on it but you shouldn't give it away either. Also the second guy can get a great bike, make small changes and save a heap of time, money and effort

I've got to the point now if i buy something for "X" dollars and Mr "Y" will only give me "Z" dollars I would prefer to smash it or damage it in some way and throw it on the tip that way no'one gets it, especially the prick who expects it for nothing.

Its just a simple case of greed IMO.
