Looking to update the F/end on the EFE, would like a YZF750 but they seem thin on the ground and not sure if it will "bolt in" so what's the best gixxa 11 front end to buy?

I'd suggest these Mike, but I'm guessing your the Aussie who asked the question bout the postage lol.. Whilst your changing the front end, why not go radial brakes setup on more modern forks??

FUCK!

Stop stalking me all over ebay you cunts!!

I have a ZX636 radial brake f/end but it's about 6" too short for the efe, hence the need for a "long" style fork set up.

also already have 6 spots on the efe that will fit that f/end.

Ground clearance & steering geometry will be an issue with shorter forks on the Effie so you probly want the longest USDs you can find, I've been down the same road & found the longest USDs available are Kwaka ZX9 B models (94 - 97) followed by GSXR 1100 W models.
Beware of the Gix ones when buying secondhand, the chrome is nearly always fucked on the sliders.
As far as 'bolt in' stuff goes, GSXR stems are near identical to GSX ones, you only need to change a bearing or use a thick washer depending on what model Gixer stem you use.
