Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding info on what other brand bike wheels can be used on an SV1000. I believe a lot of the later GSXR's use the same wheels.
Mainly looking for an appearance change, prefer a multi spoke design, like the marchesinis on 999/749 duc's or the brembos on RSV's, but know nothing about hub widths, what rotors will work etc.
Anyone know a wrecker or someone who would be happy to measure up wheels, hub spacings etc for me?
EDIT: Gday all, awesome site. Been lurking here for a little while and thought I would see if all the knowledgeable and freindly members would be able to help me with my bike. Since I have no idea, and rarely engage in small talk (type?), I'll get straight to the point. Im a bit of a carbon fibre sticker squid boy newb and wanted some razzy wheels for my underpowered unpopular anemic scooter, but since I'm such a tight arsed, mechanically inept, freindless, helpless hopeless fool, I thought my first post should be a plea for help. Fortunately I didn't make my first post in the for sale section, otherwise I'm sure you would have all realised I really only signed up to this forum to suck as much out of it as I could and then fuck off....
I would have posted in the introduction section, but Im sure a couple of lines introducing myself, an individual of no particular import, and what I ride, a machine of no particular import, would have met with a resounding response of utter silence.
My apologies if I have offended.
Cheers
Daryl
