I have an Ohlin’s shock in the [u]GSXR 600 K2 </u>and would like to put it in the [u]GSXR 1000 K5 </u>if possible. I looked on the Ohlin’s website and the part numbers are different – would anyone know if its any easy swap?? :)[:o)]

k2 shock is 7mm longer irrc, if your ohlins has an inbuilt ride adjuster, just set it to 325mm and fit it to the 06, however the k6 loves a bit of extra shock length, set it to 328mm, and run the top triples flush with the top of the forks.

Thanks Joe :DI new someone would have the knowledge.
Booster has set the supsension up un the 1000 to suit the turbo so I will annoy him yet again now and ask if I should change the shock [:p]

Jo its lowered more so your comfortable on it,but that also helps it go forward rather than up
the ohlins as Joe first suggested set to std 06 length would be a good upgrade and be more adjustable than the std shock for future changes

Dylan was just looking at options:D
The 600 has the flashy after market Ohlins in it & hardly gets ridden, the 1000 has stock shock in it & gets ridden a lot
