Man how cool is that, I would have a hard time doing anything to it in that condition and considering how rare it would be.
Maybe turn it into more Cafe Racer than Fighter, wider rear Wire wheel, Katana Clip ons or flatter bars, Custom seat, RGV Brakes, mainly reversable stuff I reckon.

Jeez look at all the wiring crap

Good luck with the Project

Yeah, love the bars Fonzie :D

Oh and Turbo would love to get his hands on your tank mate. Not thinking about changing up to a 24 litre one are you?

Actually the more I look at it the more 'bitza' it looks. What are the front forks off, they weren't painted on the originals, plus they had an air balance tube between the triples. And the wheels, what are they from? And that headlight isn't stock, which is why the wiring will be such a bitch to work with, they originally had a square headlight, which was much bigger/roomier.
Have you checked the frame for true, cos I'd be guessing that that bike has likely had a big front end accident. Plus speed wobbles were bad enough on those things without having a bent frame make it worse.

Yeah Kooka - like Chalkie said, those frames were more than likely not straight even when they left the factory, let alone some 25 years down the track. It would be a wise move have it checked before you go much further (my bent ZX9 only cost $400 to straighten) and it would be money well spent.
