basically, she has the gsx250 now
but it has good resale being 250 so im reluctant to hack it up too much

its got 17hp at the wheel
the ft should have double that, so she will be able to get around a bit easier

thinking of doing a jap-style tw200 thing crossed with a cafe racer

only thing i heard bad about them so far is that the starter soleniods are a bit crappy
but i could swap that out with something from a bigger bike (i guess)

If honda was anything like yamaha back then its just a XL500 motor with a electric start strapped to it.

My SRX600 is basicly just the same deal big single dirt bike motor with electric start shoved in a heavy steel roadbike frame, loads of clunking grunt for a big single with the ease of a pushbutton start. Never going to be a power house but FUN yes, There is a guy in Seymour with a shop called "Single obsession" mostly 600 singles in road bike frames. Up in the hills around the area he is pritty quick on one, with more that a few Latte sipping R1 riders from melbourne struggling to keep up with him. (He does race a bit on occasion)

my brother used to own one, theyre not good. was always being repaired, wouldnt start when hot, cams failed at 35,000 km, suspension was really poor.
