thats pretty cool! It would work on the same principals as the segway so u cant tilt back far enough to fall off it (unless ur pissed or jst bein stupid) I'd like to play with one!

Yeah, they could turn us into a bunch of lazy buggers but for the elderly/invalid they're prefect. I'd much rather have a bunch of them zipping around the mall that those 4 wheeled scooter things they use at the moment. Think of the awesome drunken sports you could invent as well

Be interesting to apply that wheel technology to bikes.. never have to put your feet down again ;)

Also interesting for cars - how easy it would be for chicks to parrallel park!

its got great ideas such as the wheel design and the self leveling innovation.

not sure about using it as a replacement for walking though.
interesting to see where they take this design to next.
