Lets just say Morry rested himself while Rocket nearly went on to glory :-)

We only got one run together in qualifying, it was my first time on the strip on that bike in a couple of years and I managed to make a complete hash of it so I had my arse handed to me by Morry.
In eliminations, we obviously didn't line up against each other but Morry broke out in the first round.
I was fortunate enough to get through two elimination rounds but got knocked out in the third.
That is to say, I managed to completely fuck my run up and threw it away, but the other guy has his game well sorted so i was a slim chance anyway.

I only managed flat 11's (PB is a semi controlled 10.35) but the runs sounded like fun to watch. They certainly were from where I was sitting !

Morry beat his PB in the grudgies with a 10.09, so close to that elusive 9 but just not quite there.
Still worth congratulations though, well done mate.

Trying to keep things under control and not doing too bad.

Getting knocked out against Gajet who's done more passes down there on that Blackbird than I've had tugs...and that's a lot.

You can see it jump up on the change into second and I knew I was gone so I was only half arsed from there.

We'll be doing some mods to calm the turbo bike down a little, like fitting clip ons (yeah I'm turning ghey), the long swingarm I have at home, lowering link and an ohlins shock I scored a while back.
I also have strap clearance issues with the intercooler so I need to sort something out with that too.[:o)]

Morry will be racing in Mod bike this weekend if anyone is interested in going for a watch. the good thing is that you can come to the pits afterwards and say hi.
Friday will be a couple of qualifying runs, Saturday will be qualifying and eliminations.
Coupla top fuellers going to run too I believe. Worth a watch.
