I just went for a spin aroungd the block. I was playing around on a backstreet doing some wheelies and stoppies etc. and then thought I'd pull over to check for leaks etc, as this was the bikes first proper run. To my surprise as I pulled over, a group of about 8 bike cops rides past and gives me a freindly wave, clearly oblivious to my previous exploits and lack of registration [^].

PS. I am trying to upload a vid I took but it's about 15 meg and I want to compress it and am not sure how to post it. It's in realplayer format. Any tips?

15megs is pretty big, how long is it? I have a 5 min car vid thats 11megs compressed from 200 or so. Do you have any video software?

its only 31 seconds, my brother is a techno geek and has all sorts of software on this computer, media converter and the like but I can't seem to make anything work.

A few Updates on the bike. I salvaged a 4-1 collector and modified my headers to suit (the harley pipes were giving me a headache). I used the shortened yoshi can I had sitting around and made up a hanger out of some 5mm polished ally plate. I have a new battleaxe font tyre on now and finally did the subframe braces properely. The bike runs and rides faultlessly now, its great.

Very nice.... just realized this beast has the same motor my bike has.....

Yeah but yours has a better frame.
The brakes are going good zx12, i'm having trouble heating the rear up enough to bed the surface though. The high carbon steel needs to get real hot and we all know what happens if you really jump on the rear brake. The fronts are great though, they seem to fade less than the factory jobbers.

Hey it might be better..... but it looks like shite ;)

In regards to the anti dive.... most of the time its just an o-ring causing the problem.

Mines working just fine and fuck knows how many years, after I replaced two orings....

Apparently theres a kit to redo the whole thing.

It works a treat when working properly.....

Here's some pic of the new light setup. The old twins basically sucked at night. This thing with a phillips +80% globe rocks. I've done about 2500 k's on the bike now with no dramas, the thing is really fun in the twisty bits. Feels comfortable even right on the edge of the tire.
