hi people,just joined up to get some info and see whats goin on around the place,im irish and not really understanding the RTA rules here,ive a 2010 zx10r everyday driver and just bought a K9 1000 with light cosmetic damage,it needs a blue slip to re register it but the parts are $4000,so in thinking of a streetfighter,are they able to be road registered and what needs to be done if so,cheers!

Yeh mate NSW rego does suck, but there is no reason u cnt get a fighter rego'd. We all have! Jst gotta make sure that anything you do with regards to lighting is 'e' marked & there is nothing sharp protruding. Other than that, unless they are a pack of cunts, u should be ok! I'v found its not too dificult... even better if u befrend a mechanic that does blue slips tho! :D

One thing you will need for a bluey is a stock pipe, very few if any will pass a bike without one. As for the front end, get hold of a round like with emark and some fork brackets and wire it in. I can't see the dash or if its still there, but it would need that also.
For the bars (clip on), Ebay US is a great cheap place to grab one from right now. That will see ya through the blue slip hopefully. Bit bigger pic's would show more for us to help you along.
