Well guys and girls, can I just say that at the risk of sounding like a Kid before Christmas.... only 3 more sleeps till NFR!

For me this is a MUCH NEEDED and I think well deserved break from the day to day grind which somewhat resembles having wild monkeys treat my ball sack like a pinata.

Does voicing my concerns regarding the likelyhood of unfavourable weather breach the 'Positive shit only' theme of this thread???

With all these guys coming from the North Coast, are you all stopping at Phesants Nest, then going to the pub, drop gear off, then gonna do some riding in the area??
Or are you just taking your time, and taking the nice roads down, and when you get to the pub, your staying there for the rest of the day??
I've had a spanner thrown in the works,so just trying to see how i can get the most riding in as possible!!
I may have to van the bike down, and leave late sat nite???

The ride from Pheasants Nest to Cooma will be covering all the back roads so we don't get in to Cooma until late Friday afternoon. Nudie has also found some new twisties for us to hit between Pheasants Nest and Goulburn and then more back roads between Goulburn and Cooma. Basically thats the reason we meet up at Pheasants nest so early, works out to be a nice warm up ride before Saturday's ride.

If you have to drive down Nic, talk to Jim as he usually high tails it down the freeway in his van and gets to Cooma about an hour or so before us.

If i end up driving into Cooma,i'll let jim know, coz i have a front end he's been trying to get off me for a while now,for Phill,so i could take that with me aswell??
Spewin',looks like i'll be missing a good ride on Friday.

Whereabouts are all these roads?

Would they all be between Canberra and Cooma??

I could get up real early, get to cooma, and ride back up north,to the beginning of the fun roads, and ride back into cooma with the pheasants nest group???

Unfortunately the fun roads finish at Queanbeyan then we head up the monaro highway. Welcome to meat us there if you like. You can ring me on the Friday if you like to find out where we are and a place to meet us.

You won't be Robinson Crusoe.

They will be so squared off from the ride down that a wet road will be the least of our cornering problems. [:p]
