haha Rod ask Pezz about our idea of trailering to the oxley.the morning we left it was raining and him and all his mates had to ride home in it and we had ours on the trailer and sitting in the nice warm car with the heater on and a beer in hand plus u are a lot fresher to ride if you drive there. A lot of people say that to us but we usually have the last laugh although I did enjoy the ride with Si and the northern boys .

I fit a brand new DL650 in the back of mine - the key tho is to remove the screen and a few other bits and pieces by rubbing vigorously up against the back of a late model BMW... but not too many passes.. less is more remember...
it almost didn't need to be tied down, the roof is caved in from about 25 people using it as a viewing platform for the titty comp at power cruise a few years ago, had 3 people on the bumper that is only held on by 2 wood screws.. , Its good when it rains or theres dew every morning - I can slam the brakes on at the gate and rinse the windscreen off

Cant find it on the nets but about 2 years ago was at Heathcote drags and there was a 454 Hiace that from the exterior looked like a standard tradies van - Racks and PVC pipe to boot. The fucker wheelstood the first 50m and pulled a 9.2. Was tubbed and had rollcage but otherwise standard steering and a great big fuck off engine sticking through the bench seat and encroaching on the drivers left elbow.

Judging by the distance travelled vs. the time Jimmy called me this arvo I'd say Pete was cruising along at around 80k's/hr on the way home so that little bongo van would have used 8/5 of no fuel. That and the road from Newy to Macksville once you're just north of Nabiac is relatively flat so I'd say it's possible.
